Anjali Pathak is the President and Founder Trustee of URJA. She is a human rights practitioner and lawyer with over 10 years of experience in the field of anti-trafficking and other development issues. Anjali has worked with leading national NGOs and government agencies such as Prerana (Mumbai), Save the Children India, Human Rights Law Network, National Commission for Women (NCW) and with the Ministry of Women and Child Development. She holds a Masters degree in 'Understanding and Securing Human Rights' from the University of London and an M.Phil in Sociology from the University of Pune.
Y.S.R. Murthy is Professor & Registrar, O.P. Jindal Global University. Prior to it, he served in the National Human Rights Commission of India in various capacities for over 12 years including as the Director, Research. He has published a number of articles and books on human rights. They include `Halsbury's Laws of India - Human Rights' and Human Rights Handbook, published by LexisNexis Butterworths.
Prof. Dr. Swati Shirwadkar is presently Head of the Department of Sociology in the University of Pune, India. Since 2010 she is also the Director of Euroculture program. She was awarded Shastri Indo- Canadian Fellowship and worked in York University and worked as a visiting professor and Diversity Fellow in S.F. Austin State University, U.S. She has published books and research articles in international and national journals. Her publications, research interests and teaching are in the field of gender issues, particularly related to violence against women, sexuality and reproductive health, socio-cultural changes in urban areas and villages, education, globalization, diasporas and identity issues. She is the coordinator of joint projects with faculty in University of Tampere, Finland and Sciences Po, France.
Dr. V. P Singh is Senior Consultant (Surgical Oncology) at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. He has worked as Reader/Classified Specialist at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune University and at Mumbai University. He has also served as Honorary Registrar of Prof. G. Westbury at the Academic Surgery Unit of The Royal Marsden Hospital, London.
